Manga you compose, not just read
A page here isn't a flat image. It has parallax depth, a director's cinematic reading sequence, voiced dialogue, music, and ambience — and you assemble your own experience by choosing whose work you want, like picking audio tracks and subtitles on Netflix.
Layers you choose, not one baked-in version
Every chapter is authored in independent, individually-selectable layers. A reader picks whose work they want and Vivimanga composes it live. Dialogue and its voice map to a cut's scenes dynamically by coordinate — so scripts and voices are director-independent and work under any cut without re-authoring.

The mangaka's uploaded page images, rendered as parallax depth layers rather than a flat scan.
Direction — a “cut”
A director's scene framing and reading order over the pages, with a declared aspect ratio. Any number of directors can cut the same chapter; you pick one, and switch at any time without losing your place.
Script
A writer's dialogue lines, each with coordinates and an emotional mood. Scripts are director-independent — they map onto any cut by coordinate at read time.
Voice
A take per dialogue line, human-recorded or AI-generated. Bound to the line: wherever a caption shows, its voice plays.
Music & ambience
A “mix” — one author's soundtrack and atmosphere sequenced over a cut. Multiple mixes can exist per cut; you choose the one you want to hear.
Translation
Per-language replacement art overlays, so a chapter can be read in your language without leaving the immersive layout.
The roles
Content roles create the layers; sequencing roles arrange them. Roles are account-level — any of your profiles can use a role you hold — and each is 2FA-gated: you can't hold a creative role, or comment, without two-factor security enabled.
Mangaka
Owns the manga and uploads the pages everything else is built on.
Script writer
Writes dialogue and casts characters to voices.
Voice actor
Records or generates a voice take for a line.
Director
Cuts the chapter — framing and order — and sounds each line inline from the composers' and engineers' pools.
Composer / ambience engineer
Uploads music and ambience tracks into a pool. No cut required to start.
Music / ambience director
Sequences a pool into a mix over a specific cut.
Translator
Produces per-language overlays.
Our principles
Endorsement is being chosen, never approval
There is no content-review gate. A layer becomes “the” version by being selected — set as a default, pinned as a preference, or (for directors) approved by the mangaka as a featured cut. Nothing is accepted or rejected for quality; readers vote with their choices.
YouTube-style creator profiles
One account can hold many profiles, each a fresh creative identity. The active profile is the effective identity for what you create — content is per-profile, while your roles are shared account-wide.
Anonymity toward others
A reader sees only a persona — a display name and avatar — never a real account, email, or user id, and can never link two profiles back to the same account.
Directing is open; approval elevates
Anyone with the director role can make a public custom cut of any manga. The mangaka approves cuts to feature them, and your default is the featured cut whose aspect ratio is closest to your screen.
Invite-only
Vivimanga is invite-only while we grow deliberately. Signing up requires an invite code from an existing member.
