Terms of Service

Vivimanga (“Vivimanga”, “we”, “us”) provides an immersive, layered manga reading and creation platform. By creating an account, accessing, or using the service you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to readers and to contributors of every creative layer.

Vivimanga is currently invite-only. Registration requires a valid invite code, and we may limit, throttle, or revoke invitations at our discretion. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Certain creative roles and the ability to comment require you to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account.

Vivimanga is built from independently-authored, individually-selectable layers — pages and art, direction (“cuts”), scripts, voice takes, music and ambience mixes, and translations. You may contribute one or more of these layers depending on the roles you hold, and readers assemble their own experience by choosing among them.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, record, generate, or sequence. You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit it and that it does not violate these terms or any law.

You retain ownership of the original content you contribute. By submitting content, you grant Vivimanga a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for layered composition, transcode, publicly display, and stream that content as part of operating and promoting the service.

Because layers are composed together at read time, you also grant other Vivimanga users the limited right to combine their own layers with yours through the platform's reader (for example, a director sequencing a composer's tracks over a cut). This does not transfer ownership.

Readers receive a personal-use license only. Access to read a work does not grant any right to download, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works outside the platform's intended layered-composition features.

These content guidelines are part of the terms. You agree not to upload, create, generate, or otherwise contribute content that:

• infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property or contractual right, including uploading works you do not have permission to distribute;
• is unlawful, or that depicts, promotes, or facilitates the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors — child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities;
• is harassing, hateful, threatening, or incites violence against individuals or groups;
• impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation, including misusing another creator's persona;
• contains malware, or attempts to circumvent our security, rate limits, moderation, or access controls;
• uses AI voice generation to clone a real person's voice without their consent or in violation of applicable law.

Comments are moderated automatically. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines, with or without notice.

We respect intellectual-property rights and respond to valid takedown notices. If you believe content on Vivimanga infringes your copyright, send a notice that identifies the work, the allegedly infringing material and its location, your contact information, a good-faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act.

Send notices to support@vivimanga.com. A designated DMCA agent and postal address will be published before public launch (see the contact page). We may remove or disable access to reported material and terminate repeat infringers.

Vivimanga offers AI-generated voice takes as an option alongside human recordings, using third-party providers (currently ElevenLabs). By generating AI voices you agree to the applicable provider terms and confirm you will not clone or imitate a real person's voice without lawful consent. AI voice usage may be metered and subject to limits.

Vivimanga does not review contributions for quality or approve them for publication. A layer becomes a default or featured version only by being chosen — selected as a default, pinned as a reader preference, or approved by a mangaka as a featured cut. Selection is not an endorsement or warranty by Vivimanga of any contribution.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, or remove content, if you violate these terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or its users. Upon termination the licenses you have granted continue only to the extent needed for content already composed into others' works and for our legal and operational records.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Contributions are made by users, and Vivimanga does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or quality of any layer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vivimanga will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vivimanga is established [governing-law placeholder — to be finalized with legal counsel], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms as the product and our legal obligations evolve. Material changes will be surfaced in the product. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
